Album Review of Ataraxia for the band Allt

Emerging from Karlskoga, Sweden in 2020, Allt have established themselves through a unique blend of metalcore and immersive audiovisual storytelling. Taking their name from the Swedish word for “everything,” the band embraces a creative mindset that refuses to be limited by genre. Inspired by the world around them and the myths and stories that have endured through generations, Allt continue to shape music that reflects their broad artistic vision. After the release of their acclaimed 2024 debut album, From The New World, which examined societal collapse, survival, and humanity through a fictional post-apocalyptic setting, Allt are preparing to unveil their second full-length album, Ataraxia.

With Ataraxia, Allt turns their attention toward more personal themes, drawing inspiration from real life experiences. The band continue to refine their modern progressive metalcore sound, giving more room to atmosphere, emotion, and subtle dynamics without sacrificing their trademark heaviness. The balance between intensity and vulnerability gives the material a deeply personal quality, making Ataraxia feel like the band’s most sincere and human release so far.

Currently, only “Omertà” and “Snowblind” have been unveiled, but the two tracks provide an early look at what Ataraxia has in store. Both songs highlight the continued evolution of Allt’s sound while preserving the power and depth that have become hallmarks of the band, leaving plenty to look forward to when the full album arrives in July 2026.
