Interview with Venus 5

1) Could you tell our readers about your band Venus 5?
Venus 5 is a rock band driven by raw emotion, strong visuals, and a powerful modern sound. The
band was created by the label Frontiers Records, who were scouting for distinctive female voices
and selected the five of us to become part of this project. Each member brings a unique identity, but
together we form a unified vision that blends intensity, melody, and a strong artistic image.

2) Which bands or artists inspired you to play music?
As a band, Venus 5 draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of rock and metal music. Each member
comes from a different musical background, ranging from heavy metal and classic metal to classic
rock and blues rock. This diversity of influences shapes the band’s sound, allowing us to blend
power, melody, and emotion while keeping our music dynamic and multifaceted.

3) Who came up with the cover art for the album March of the Venus?
The concept for the March of the Venus cover art came from within the band and reflects the core
identity of the album. It symbolizes strength, movement, and feminine power, acting as a visual
extension of the music.

4) Who wrote the lyrics for the new album?
The album features songwriting contributions from Jake E. (ex-Amaranthe, Cyhra). Some songs
were also shaped collaboratively, with all band members contributing ideas, adjustments, and
refinements throughout the process.

5) Who created the logo for the band, and who takes care of the graphics and website?
The band’s logo and visual identity were developed as part of Venus 5’s artistic vision, in close
collaboration with visual creatives, ensuring consistency between sound, imagery, and mood.

6) How many shows have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer?
Venus 5 has performed at three major festivals: Zurbán Rock in Burgos, Rock Imperium Festival in
Barcelona, and MetalDays in Slovenia. Rock Imperium stands out as a particularly special
experience due to its scale, diversity of rock genres, and powerful audience connection.

7) What is your songwriting process?
There isn’t a fixed songwriting process within the band. While the main songwriting and lyrics are
handled externally, the band remains involved by offering feedback, ideas, and adjustments to
shape the final result.

8) Who would you most like to collaborate with?
We are open to collaborating with artists who have a strong identity and artistic vision, regardless of
genre.

9) What are the main themes or messages in your lyrics?
The lyrics focus on feminine power, desire, inner conflict, freedom, identity, and transformation,
often balancing vulnerability and strength with emotional depth.

10) Do you have any endorsements?
At the moment, Venus 5 does not have official endorsements. We are open to future collaborations
that align with the band’s identity.

11) Any upcoming shows or festivals?
We are currently preparing for upcoming shows and promoting the new album. Details will be
announced soon through our official channels.
