Jungle Rot launches GoFundMe : Support tour recovery.

(Jungle Rot) In all our years as a band, we’ve seen plenty of GoFundMe campaigns but never felt it was something we’d need to do ourselves. After an unexpected travel issue forced us to replace multiple international flights at the last minute, we’re facing a significant expense that threatens to impact our summer schedule.

If Jungle Rot and what we do means something to you, any contribution—big or small—would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us keep the wheels turning!

The band comments:

“To everyone who has supported Jungle Rot over the years, we’re asking for your help during an unexpected crisis. While traveling, our flight was canceled without warning, leaving us stranded overnight and creating a domino effect of expenses that have hit us hard. Between non-refundable hotel reservations, transportation costs, driver fees, rebooking travel, and other unexpected expenses, we’ve taken a significant loss. For a band like ours, that’s not a small inconvenience—it’s a serious financial blow.

“Independent touring bands operate on tight budgets, and every dollar is carefully planned to keep the shows happening and the wheels turning. One travel disaster can wipe out the profit from multiple shows and put tremendous strain on everyone involved. We’ve always done everything possible to get on stage, deliver for our fans, and keep the music alive no matter the obstacles. This time, we’re turning to the people who have supported Jungle Rot throughout the years and asking for a helping hand.

“Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering the unexpected travel losses and helping us continue moving forward. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, and fellow metal fans would mean just as much. We’ve spent decades building this band, and we’re not about to let one travel nightmare stop us. Your support helps keep Jungle Rot on the road and doing what we love. Thank you for standing with us.

“The road isn’t always easy, but this community has always been stronger than any setback.”

The Silent Band: How Poor Communication Sabotages Musical Careers The dream of a professional music career is often framed as a grind of songwriting, touring, and stage presence.
