Interview with Lead Injector

(1) Could you tell our readers about your band Lead Injector? – What kind of music do you perform, when was it established, etc.?

We are Lead Injector! We play Witching Metal! As everyone can tell by our name already we are very inspired by Sodom, and the genre they invented perfectly fits the music we make: straight forward, fast and evil thrash rock’n’roll. We originally formed in late 2022 but really got started when we met Cymbal Crusher in 2023 and played our first live show in January 2024.

(2) Which bands or artists inspired you to play music?

There are bands that influenced our music, old legends like Celtic Frost, Venom, Slayer, and the teutonic four. But even more importantly there are young and active bands that inspired us to play live on stage, to keep the scene alive! Those bands include Sintage, Acid Blade, Bitch Hammer, Cruel Force, Midnight and Hellripper.

(3) Who came up with the cover art for the single Sacrifice This Bitch?

The artwork of the single is an altered extract of the Witching Attack album-artwork. It was made by Mirko at HRR.

(4)Who wrote the lyrics for your new single Sacrifice This Bitch, how did they come to be?

We were in the rehearsal room and Undying Evil showed us some new riffs he came up with. Even though we were skeptical at first, he insisted that the title of the new song be “Sacrifice this Bitch”. So Chrome Cutter sat down and in the span of just 2 hours wrote the entire lyrics, we adjusted the song structure and started rehearsing our new song. That was on September 1st, 2024; just 20 Days later we played it live for the first time.

(5) Who created the logo for the band Lead Injector?, and who takes care of the graphics and the website?

The Logo was hand drawn by SepulchralOwl, who also made the artworks for our demo and our album. She’s been the bands main artist from the very start, even hand painting our stage backdrop, shirt designs etc. The ideas come from us but she puts them into practice, adding details and giving us a signature art style. We don’t have a website, our main focus is our Instagram channel, which we manage ourselves.

(6) How many Shows have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether (Venues or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

So far we have played 18 official live shows. All our gigs have been great so far, there was not a single one where we were disappointed afterwards. In general club shows is what we like the most, its what play the most anyway. However we also really enjoy playing big festivals or tiny bars, the most important thing is that you have a lot of people there, many metal maniacs who go crazy in the front row. As long as that is given, time and location don’t really matter.

(7) What is your songwriting process for the single Sacrifice This Bitch ?

Like we said earlier, the whole thing essentially came together in just a few hours in our rehearsal room. Undying Evil came up with the riffs beforehand, and afterwards we had some struggles with the middle part, we had to shorten it and come up with some more ideas to make it more interesting, it took a few weeks until we were fully satisfied.

(8) Who would you most like to collaborate with?

There are many, many bands we would be very proud to share the stage with, it would be great to do a show with Cruel Force or Midnight, or with our big idols Sodom. We have also considered maybe making a split with a band we’re friends with in the future.

(9) What are the main themes or messages in your lyrics?

We don’t write Lyrics with “deeper meaning”, like social or political criticism or anything like that. Our goal is to write catchy, evil lyrics; telling stories about the things we find interesting: horror, violence, war, occultism… heavy metal, alcohol and women? The main theme in most lyrics is the triumph of chaos and evil against purity and peace, most of the stories we tell are doomsday scenarios.

(10) Do you have endorsements that you want to talk about or share?

A topic very important to us! The appreciation and irreplaceability of hand made, human made art. We see so many bands starting to use ugly ass, cheap AI-Shit everywhere. We are very disappointed with many of our former idols who seem to not give a fuck about real art, who take a shit on their fans and their legacy by taking the easy way of using AI-“Art” for album covers, flyers, merch, music videos and so on. To them we say FUCK YOU and FUCK AI-“ART”! If a band wants to use AI generated images for, well, anything basically, what would stop them from “writing” their music with AI as well? Modern AI can easily generate lyrics and melodies that cant be recognized to be non human made anymore. We can not trust the bands who use it and we will not listen to some computer generated shit. We want true metal music made by true metal maniacs!!! Fuck false art and fuck false metal

(11) Would you like to share any shows or festivals coming up?

So far we have 9 shows planned for 2026, the first one was the Incoming Armor fest in Hamburg last Saturday. We are looking forward to all of them, especially our show at the Chronical Mosher’s Open Air in June and our first gig outside of Germany, the Night of Total Aggression near Katowice, Poland. Also – most importantly – our record release show in Dresden, February 21st!!!

(12) How and where can your fans contact you? What about you and social networks?

If fans want to talk to us about our music they can message our Instagram or Facebook page, gig requests and the like should be sent to our email address.
